The Narrow Path
There is truly only one way to get to Heaven. It is through YWHW’s son Jesus who He sent to die on the cross for our sins. (Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6 NKJV).

Jesus goes on further to say that the path and the gate to everlasting life is narrow, road gate to destruction are wide. We are not going to miss it. (“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14, NASB).
I don’t know about you, but I think there’s been a few times I’ve been on the wide path. I think it’s good that we recognize that. It’s not that we should not change it. It’s that we should acknowledge it and seek to change it.
Then, take the next step and seek to find the narrow path.
That leads me to my point, when I step on my narrow path, it will lead me to Jesus. But my narrow path may not be the same as yours. My struggles are not yours.
My path may lead me through ministry service of music. Yours’ may lead you through teaching. We don’t know the plans of the Master.
Do not be discouraged if your life is not like someone else’s. Be discouraged if you are not following God’s will for your life. He will direct you on your narrow path.
We will all…get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be…but my path will not be the same as yours. And to God be the glory. He has chosen a way specifically for me if I trust and obey Him.
He knows me. He loves me. He will get me to a place where I can sing and shout the victory!
I pray that each one of you will find your narrow path.
